Poster for podcast show

Every year in my family, there's a tradition - I draw a poster for my wife as a birthday gift. This year, I chose the theme of her podcast, which I highly recommend listening to.

In this podcast, two sensitive birds share personal life stories on topics usually discussed only in close circles.

From art to the most mundane.

We are the creative hosts: Lena the designer and Zina the artist.

Poster for Young Marco (ESP Institute)

I was fortunate to create a poster for one of my favorite musicians, Young Marco. I am thrilled by the sound of his psychedelic house and techno music. The melodic, energetic music inspired me to depict a bustling highway during rush hour. Everyone is hurrying to Young Marco's performance.

What's a party without some drinks? For this project, I also designed the coasters.

To bring the picture to life, I made all the illustrations and typography using drafting paper and two full rolls of insulating tape. Then, I digitized everything and added Jameson's signature colors.

Poster for the last Simatchev Shop & Bar party

Everything good eventually comes to an end to make way for something new and even better. Similarly, the famous Moscow club Simachev hosted its last party after 12 years at the Stoleshnikov Lane location. After that, the club's doors closed, only to reopen a few months later in a new place. The image of a staircase and Cinderella's slipper came to my mind. Twelve years, like the 12 strokes of midnight, after which the magic ends. The slipper represents what a modern Cinderella would wear to a great club party!

Poster for tatoo artist Zina Borisova

Every year in my family, there's a tradition - I draw a poster for my wife as a birthday gift.  This year, I chose the theme of tattoos, which Zina has been involved in for a long time. I was inspired by the image of a snake getting tattooed by an artist. Since the poster is made in the style of a continuous frieze, if they are placed side by side, it appears as if the artist is tattooing themselves.

The idea of a seamless poster came to me when I was reading about the history of Polish poster design.
I like that the poster goes beyond its format and can be as large as desired.
